By booking and receiving a braiding service from BraidsArt_byO, you acknowledge, understand, and agree to the following:

1. Service Longevity
I understand that the longevity of braids depends on proper aftercare, lifestyle, scalp health, and natural hair condition. No specific duration of wear is guaranteed.

2. Hair Type & Texture Disclaimer
I acknowledge that all hair types respond differently to braiding. Shedding, frizz, slippage, itching, or faster loosening may occur depending on curl pattern, porosity, density, or previous chemical/color treatments.

3. Client Hair Condition
I confirm that my natural hair will be properly washed, detangled, and free from excessive product buildup before the appointment unless a wash add-on is booked. I understand BraidsArt_byO is not responsible for pre-existing scalp or hair issues.

4. Allergies, Sensitivities & Reactions
I confirm I have disclosed any known allergies, scalp sensitivities, or past reactions to synthetic hair, gels, edge control, or tension-based styles. I understand reactions may still occur and release the stylist from related liability, including itching, bumps, tenderness, or inflammation.

5. Aftercare Responsibilities
I agree to follow the aftercare instructions provided in order to maintain the quality and longevity of my braids. I understand that failure to properly care for my style may lead to breakage, buildup, or scalp discomfort, which is not the responsibility of the stylist.

6. Refunds & Adjustments
I understand that payment reflects the skill, time, and labor required for my style. Refunds will not be issued. Adjustments are only offered during the appointment and at the stylist’s discretion.

7. Liability Release
I release BraidsArt_byO and its owner from responsibility for:
• Hair breakage or thinning
• Scalp sensitivity or discomfort
• Style longevity not matching expectations
• Irritation or reactions to products or braiding hair
• Damage caused by improper takedown or prolonged wear

I understand braiding is a tension-based hairstyle and may not be suitable for everyone.

8. Photo & Video Consent
I grant permission for photos and/or videos of my hairstyle to be used for marketing, social media, advertising, and portfolio purposes.
If I do NOT want photos taken, I will notify the stylist before the service begins.

9. Legal Confirmation
By checking the required box at booking and/or signing, I confirm that:
• I have read and fully understand this waiver
• I agree to all terms voluntarily
• I am 18+ or have parental consent if under 18
• I accept full responsibility for my hair and scalp health
